Clone a defect using package

Description

I've been trying to create a package which clones an existing defect and all of it's content to be a new defect/task/enhancement. I'd rather do this that mess with creating separate tasks which i think want to track using milestones. Thinking someone has already done this type of work and not looking to recreate the wheel.

The interface would allow someone to open the ticket with a new milestone Then clone that ticket using the same milestone but use a different component. Allows me to manage a larger task (milestone) by distributing the work items and not have to retype everything.
