Description

It would be quite useful to have some sort of spell-check built into Trac so that people don't submit unreadable tickets.

There are many browser based Spell checkers. E.g. the Google Toolbar has one - that does the job it for me.

  • status changed from closed to reopened.
  • resolution deleted.

Saying there are other ways of doing it does't mean this is a bad idea. I personally don't like the google toolbar, and as such don't use it.

I'll vote for this -- would be very helpful with some of the guys we have here :)

Firefox 2.0 has a built in spell checker, as does Opera...

Me too.

Something that works in the wiki to and is international.

Like an external programm that is called on every previw and marks the wrong words somehow (Background or the word like wiggle line..) would be really nice.

Even better if i got a WYSISYMG Editor (with wiki syntax formatting built in... :) ) that can do this while typing.

I do type fast but with many errors... :(

And i dont like GoogleBar? and didn't use Firefox 2 at the moment...

This Spell Checker works well with MediaWiki?: http://collaborate.extension.org/wiki/WikiSpeller#Installation. Can this work with TracWiki?
